Aubergine flowers
« on: August 05, 2012, 09:25:03 am »
Our aubergines are starting to flower. Beautiful but nasty prickly receptacle.

I understand that I need to fertilise them with a brush.

Does anybody know when the best time to do this is?

I suspect that these flowers are still a bit "immature".

When you can see the pollen particles on the yellow bits - it needs to be a certain temp for them to develop
