Well hello, long time no anything really!
« on: July 26, 2012, 08:10:16 pm »
Hooray, we're finally back on line, a mere 10 weeks without internet after moving house  :D
So how has everyone been? Did I miss anything? lol
We're now really quite settled in the new house, a 300+ year old farmhouse at the head of a glen that is so remote we're now on satellite broadband, and have no tv or radio signal, and mobile phones don't work either! ( Ssshhhhh, it's absolute bliss!  ;) )

Sounds bliss, good luck with it.  Who needs tv or radio when you have what sounds like the perfect viewing from your windows ( so long as you can still be on TAS  ;D )

Congratulations, good to have you back

We're at the head of Glen Ure, about 40 mins in each direction from Oban and Fort William - I'd take photos but it's a bit dark outside right now - I'll do it tomorrow :o)

Lucky you, would love to live secluded,
don't think my OH would be happy.

Mine either Mcginty :(  Until I met OH twenty years ago I had always lived with no near neighbours. I still can't get used to such close proximity or, rather, the intolerance of neighbours. They all seem to demand absolute peace and quiet from others, except when doing DIY or having noisy barbeques then, of course, they demand absolute tolerance from neighbours. ::)
I would love to live in a remote glen, or a remote shack on Dartmoor would do. OH can come or stay as he pleases!! (There, I've said it :o )

Yes that sums up my neighbours as well,
now Pebbles our donkey competes with there barking dogs.
Quite a din.
