Hi can anyone offer some advice, we have recently moved to france and we intend to keep a few sheep, we have experience in keeping sheep in the UK but we are wary of falling foul of tax laws, we are up to speed with identification and husbandry but we want to know how many sheep we can keep before it becomes a commercial enterprise. Any information would be appreciated.

I should imagine that depends on your tax free earnings allowance , if it is your main income then its a business.
