Introducing my new baby boar :)
« on: July 04, 2012, 01:01:56 pm »
This is KNOWLHILL ANDREW II (Walter) and I am in love with him    :pig: he is/will be my stud boar and I hope to show him when he is old enough, he has two perfect piris and a lovely shape just like his Daddy!

I picked him up on sunday after waiting a long time for him to be old enough to come home :)
I fell in love with his dad (Ron) whilst he was around here on stud duties to my sow, and booked a pick of litter male piglet from a litter by Ron to grow on for showing and breeding.

This is his dad Ron (PUMPKIN ANDREW V) he is such a lovely size and shape :) he has won many prizes

I already own Walters half brother but he is a castrate to keep lonely girls company, so Walter has a friend until he is old enough to start getting friendly with the girls and when he isnt in with the girls. :)

Thanks everyone  :)  :) He is such a sweety, already rolling over for belly rubs and letting me handle his feet and touch his mouth

He is very very tiny, so might be taking after his mum in size but Im sure he will grow to be like his dad.

I castrate my baby boars as I dont want to keep any related, I had a lovely little boar in march but he had to have the snip!

I will keep you posted on how Walter grows up :)
