Smallholder on the move with no where to go!
« on: July 02, 2012, 01:58:51 pm »
Good Afternoon everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but wondered whether anyone could help. We're moving at the end of July from East Sussex to Ceredigion in Wales. I have two pet Kune Kune cross pigs and two cobs, and at the moment haven't found anywhere for them to live in Wales.

We're looking for a field or fields to rent around Cribyn near Lampeter, any acreage considered. We will travel but ideally be around that area.
If you could help or point me in the direction of someone who might be able to then please do contact me.

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions,  :fc:
Many thanks

Tessa

Have you tried the local estate agents in Lampeter or llanybydder there is normally some land for sale or to rent somewhere around that area. I'm sure you'll get to know that there is a large horse sale at Llanydder the last Thursday of every month and that is organised by the local agent who also run the sheep mart.
Hope that helps.

Doganjo - A little bit too far from Wales! But thank you for the suggestion.

Kaz - Thank you for your suggestion, we are in contact with the local agents, so hopefully something will come up. And I best keep myself away from that horse sale, could be damaging for the bank account!

Thank you everyone, I feel very welcomed!

Yeah, I realised it was out of your area, but it looked interesting and thought others might have a look at it.  Good luck in your search  :fc:
