Old driveway gate recycled
« on: June 26, 2012, 10:24:02 am »
The gates to the property were falling apart when we got this place. Someone once told me to never throw a piece of wood away as if it still has some structural integrity you never know when it may come in useful.

A year later, a lick of paint, a gate post and some new thingies that hold the hinges up the gate has been put to further use as an entrance and exit from what will be the garden to the paddock area.

Added bonus of probably annoying the neighbour who doesn't like anything we do. Probably will think they are just too fancy or something  ;)

No.. That was already in place... though I have postcreted about 60 or so posts in and put a cheaper half round rail screwed into them then added wire fencing to one side and then welded mesh to the other.

Things slowly taking shape.
