Wow Fleecewife thanks for your very detailed post - I'll have a closer look at my fleeces. Thanks Sallyintnorth - you're absolutely right I had underestimated them - they are all lovely!

One thing I didn't mention was the weight of a fleece.  It used to be that fleece for craft work was sold by weight, but now that can turn up all sorts of regulations to be complied with.   I have found it simpler not to mention the weight of the fleece when pricing, simply to sell them priced per unit ie per fleece.
Although my assessment looks like a huge screed, when you actually do it it takes just seconds  thankfully  :D :sheep:
