Nice wee story for the kids...
« on: June 16, 2012, 08:04:59 pm »
A nice wee story...

Had a poorly duckling last week, brought it in, blow dried its wee wet body and made it cosy in a towel.  Jumped out of the towel so put it in the towel again and in a stainless steel pot so it wouldn't escape but hopefully keep cosy and go to sleep.  Went to collect the kids and their pals (staying for tea) from school.  Came home and mini had jumped out of the towel and pot and into a plate of jam tarts waiting for the kiddies.  Had its little webbed feet stuck heavily into a blackcurrant Mr Kipling jam tart and couldn't move - which caused much hilarity.  Very cute.

Sorry we didn't think to get a pic.  But a nice bedtime story...

Lovely story  :D
I enjoyed it, and it is really my bedtime, but I am, sadly, no longer a kid!
