Long story , cut short... Anyone had their flock tested for brucellosis?  Have been told we will be given a date in the near future when 1/2 our flock (20 sheep) will have blood tests taken.  Supposed to be random selection but strange the phone call came the day we took some to the abattoir (and we got a vet check there too).  Just my luck

Ours were done a few years ago - we only had five, so they did them all. Nice vets, and no problem. I was flapping a bit as we had some missing tags at the time, but they said they weren't looking at tags

We've just been randomly selected and I don't think there's anything fishy about it.

Thankfully we don't have to test half the flock

I didn't think our area (Dorset) was prone to it , in sheep at least.  It was a very vague message and no contact details
We only moved them this week and this means another day off work  .  Do they choose which individual sheep they want to test  or can you just round up the easiest ones?  Will they test lambs or just adult sheep?
I just feel when you are 'randomly' selected, you sometimes are in their sight lines... paranoid, me?
