My swanky new wellies
« on: June 13, 2012, 02:07:58 pm »
How about this for a pair of wellies.  The laces are just for show (I'm sure they won't last long) but the wellies are just a nice height and wide enough so that I can tuck my trousers in.

Great fun.  Lacings will be caked with, well, kak, within days!  :D

Mandy,
I couldn't bring myself to use them in the pig field this morning. I put old wellies on instead  ;D

My calfies would love those laces - one of my cardies gets chewed, or perhaps sucked, by one of of calves when she's not trying to rub her horn buds on my jeans and she would find your laces irresistible.

Friend came to visit wearing something similar (not as bright)- absolutely terrified the chickens. They were bouncing off the roof of the run in their panic! Our Ewe was not at all bothered.

They won't stay that bright for long if you actually wear them to do some work.
