Due to a poor lady being made redundant my last two lovely friendly chunky and healthy boars are still here ready to go to new homes..

They are GOS X Middle White and about ten and half weeks old now and were part of a small litter of six so are HUGE. They are free range so have loads of room to run and play so have built up a lovely chunky shape. They are very friendly and gentle and great fun!

Still only £35 each so an absolute bargain... in a couple of months they could go to the butchers as they would be big enough or could leave until they are 6 months.

Would be very grateful if you could please pass this information on to anyone you know who may be interested insome lovely pigs

Happy to help first time pig keepers - we are in Monk Fryston - near Leeds, York, Selby areas.

Thanks for looking

Hi, If you've still had no joy by the end of the month then please let us know. We don't move until them, so don't currently have the space. However if you can hold on - we'd be delighted to offer then a new home :-)

Hello

Thanks for your interest.. I will let you know as they are lovely friendly chunky (muscle not fat) boys and would be good if they could go to another good 'free range' home. Do you have a CPH number and also a trailer to pick them up in as by then if they are still here they will not fit in my large dog crate and even if they could I doubt we could lift it safely! :)

Thanks again for your interest.
Amanda

Hi Amanda, we're small, small holders currently and whilst we have dogs, horses, chickens and ducks, we will be first time pig keepers so at the moment no CPH number but yes to trailer, the plan was to use the horse box (box, not trailer) and put crates in - if necessary although it sounds like by then, they might not fit in them and would need to check the angle of the ramp, but we can arrange something, if that's not suitable.

Free range, they definately would be as once we've moved in we'll be sectioning off part of 5 acres. We're in Melton Mowbray at the moment but moving to Derbyshire Peak District and have a date of 30th June - so you're only a stones throw away. At the moment we're reading everything we can get our hands on! Do you have any pics - won't make a difference, happy to have them anyway, just curious! Kindest regards. Nicki

Hi Nicki
Sorry I have not replied sooner and thanks for your reply. We have some friends staying with us so we have the house full and it is a bit mad!
Yes I can send some pics but in a couple of days if that is okay.
If you definitley would like them and it is going to be the end of June  I will keep them for you and keep the price at £35 each. You will need to apply for your CPH number tho' so that we can complete a movement  form.
If it is going to be later than that I think I will just keep them for another couple of months myseld and then send them to the butchers as they will make fantastic meat pigs and we have already spent way more than £70 on food for them so there is absolutely no profit in this for me I just wanted them to go to a good home for the time they are kept before going to the buthcers or as a breeder.
Thanks again for your itnerest .
Kind Regards
Amanda
