40-43Kg generally to give you around 20Kg of carcass.  We've just got 70Kg of meat back from 3, but we like big joints

Being certain just means you haven't got all the facts

For leaner carcasses you can pick from 35kg live weight, especially when you are picking new season lambs that have been fed. Generally speaking 50% kill out rate is usual in lambs that have been fattened with concentrates (40kg lamb giving 19-20kg caracass). All the best with them, tell us how you get on with them.
It's always worse for someone else, so get your moaning done before they start using up all the available symathy!
