Huge thanks to The Singing Shearer!
« on: June 01, 2012, 10:15:49 am »
After watching Philip today with my 2 ewes I just wanted to extend a huge thanks to him and his team. If anyone is looking for a shearer do look at The Singing Shearers website  http://www.singingshearer.co.uk/  as he is not only friendly and professional but my sheep were handled with the greatest of respect and he was so gentle with them. Its no wonder that they are incredibly busy - they are brilliant!!

I promise next year to have them penned in a tighter area  ;)

Thanks also for the tips on what to do with the fleece - will research spinning when I get back from Spain!

Don't - it'll take over your (indoors) life...  :D
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
