Our lovely English Setter boy is at the vets at the moment - it looks as if he might have a blockage and will need an operation. Poor boy is very uncomfortable. Was fine till yesterday afternoon but then je just would not settle and was whining. He then was sick - grass and a whole carrot. Took him to the vet and they gave him some laxative, anti-inflammatory etc. Ate only 1 chickenwing for dinner but refused anything else. After a restless night he sicked the chickenwing up again and it was still whole and undigested. B ack to the vets. They are taking x-rays etc now and then we will decide what to do. He was 11 in March and is not the healthiest of dogs and nowadays English Setter fall apart at the age of 10 so it is a big worry .
