Having a blonde moment?  Do what I did - get blonde goats!

My Golden Guernseys are affectionate, smallish so easy (well, easier...) to handle for foot-trimming etc, give plenty of milk for household use but not so much that we swim in it and have gorgeous strawberry-blonde flowing coats which would cost a fortune to salon-replicate.

I had 5' fences put up round their yards in anticipation of Colditz-style escape plans, having heard that goats are hard to contain.  In fact, with the ones I have, 3'6" would have been fine.

I'm in Kent so pm me if you'd like to visit, since I only set up in goats last Autumn I'd be happy to talk you through my ups and downs.  99% ups, to be honest.  In fact - hmmm - trying to think of a downside other than the occasional early morning when a few minutes more under the duvet appeals briefly.  But then, I really enjoy milking so I don't mind getting up.

Having a blonde day? ....Point you in the right direction....?.   now we know you're an Essex Girl.

Haha, guess I can't hide my breeding! The irony being that I'm not blonde and if you ask someone in Essex to point you in the right direction they'll point you in the opposite one for a laugh :)

Countrywoman, it would be great it I could pop over and see you at some stage and have a chat, thanks for the offer
