Shearer Available.

Shearers available to clip large and small groups of sheep.
There are three of us based in Rothienorman, Tarland and Fettercairn respectively covering most of Moray, Aberdeenshire, Angus and parts of Perth and Kinross. We are all professional shepherds and shearers with a huge volume experience including competions (One of us represented Scotland), All three shearers have a British Wool Marketing Board gold seal (highest of four award catagories) and one is a registered instructor and judge.
If you live outside these areas there is a strong chance that we will have contacts in your area that we can put you in touch with, either through this forum or the BWMB.
If you would like more information or have any questions please PM me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Mark

Too far from us in the Midlands I'm afraid.  We're lucky that a farmer friend lets us put ours in with his to be sheared.

Mark has done our small group just the other day and not only was patient with them but also with me with my endless questions - and although I was considering rooing the lot I was rather worried about flystrick and therefore though it was best to get the fleeces off and start a fresh.

Yep, I don't think flystrike is really a danger round here (Scot Borders) at the moment, algae growing in their fleece probably is though... >:(
