If you ever have your very long hair chopped......
« on: May 10, 2012, 04:47:44 pm »
Having had the sheep sheared last week, my turn this week!  Im attaching the below for information, not as a fundrasing appeal (I know we are all skint on here!!!!!)....

If any of you, like me, cant be bothered to have a haircut more than every 5 years or so - please consider sending your ponytail off to the litttle princess trust (which helps children with hairloss by making real hair wigs free of charge to help them through difficult times) when you do.   Thnaks xx  :bouquet:

Good incentive FiB, my hair is long and I thought at 40 I would go for the chop, now I'm coming for 50 and still thinking about it - too many silver threads amongst the gold I think for a child though  8) and as my mother used to say, 'looks like the rats have been sooking at it' (thanks  ::))

My daughter had her's cut a couple of years ago - it was half way down her back - and donated it to the little princess trust  :)

They won't take dyed hair though - I was quite prepared to go from waist length to a bob for this good cause but I dye my now-rather-faded hair so it won't do  :-\

A good cause but I don't think I will ever cut my hair. It is my only vanity!

It hasn't been cut or trimmed for twenty years and hasn't been washed for 17 of those. I think it would also be divorce if I ever chopped it off.

MIne's almost to my waist and I have it trimmed once every ten years but only the minimum taken off.  Brilliant cause though.

Hiya Jay Kay - their website says they will (so a quick dye before the chop qoosepimple if you ever go short?)  ;D  Very funny this morning waking up with nothing to battle with and plait!

..there you go JayKay, no excuses now - my excuse is that I'm north of the border and it's flipping freezing - don't know if I could cope with a big draught around the ears, it'll have to be one of those moments when it's a nice day ( ???) and go to the hairdressers and shout, 'right, get rid of it'.  A long wait then..
