Judging by this mother/daughter combo it seems that personality is another heritable trait.

The genetics of that 'calico' colouring (ie as in calico / tortoiseshell cat - black, brown and white) is interesting.  It was recently being discussed on the US Jacob list - but I can't remember what was decided, if anything  ::)  :sheep:

that lamb is one of the funniest looking things i have seen in a while, very cute but those black eye spots make me think clown!!!

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
