I will be at the First Aid tent for noon so long as goat judging as finished, or you could come along on mass to the goat section.  I shall be there both Sat and Sun.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Oo-er, I should've read this post earlier.

As I'm living relatively close now, I could come this time  8) - only my sister is visiting on Sunday so it'll have to be Saturday .

It'll be nice to meet people in real life;  :) see you (Saturday) folks at noon - I hope.

I will probably end up at the first aid tent sometime on sunday, what with 4 kids, a daredevil hubby and two parents who are getting on a bit, someone from my crew is bound to need assistance!
Silly Spangled Appenzellers, Dutch bantams, Lavender Araucanas, a turkey called Alistair, Muscovy ducks and Jimmy the Fell pony. No pig left in the freezer, we ate him all!

I've just read on the website that they 'strongly discourage' people from bringing dogs - how problematic is it to bring one (i've never been to one of these things before)?

she's not a 'stockchaser' - more likely to run away - and I'll have her on a lead as that's a requirement if you do bring one.

I'm a bit reluctant to leave the dog at home as it's a static caravan and can get very warm if the sun's out (I know it's not forecast to be very sunny, but that doesn't mean it won't be).

I suppose I can leave several small windows open, but would still prefer to bring her along.

The trouble with taking a dog is that you cannot go in any of the buildings with one. We took ours once and more trouble than its worth.

I was going to take mine but when I saw they couldn't go inside decided against it.  So he will have to keep his legs crossed at home  ;D
