regrowing celery?

1 acre of land where i am clearing trees and a swimming pool so we can make the land productive. MK3 hilux single cab pickup which has been completely rebuilt over the last 2 years matt black and cool as! no animals yet except a very furry black cat called Hansel (he is so hot right now)

Definately going to try it, you can do it with florence fennel and cabbages as well ( if you cut a  cabbage off the stalk rather than pull it and then cut a cross in the top of the stalk you can get four small cabbage heads)  My problem with some veg is my short growing season so regrowing is limited unless they are in the poly. I do a lot of cut and come again but regrowing takes a little longer.

got one on the widow sill as we speak and going to pot it up in the greenhouse tomorrow me think, very interesting!

That is fantastic :thumbsup: I'm going to try that tomorrow at work I'm sure the Chef will have some celery I can cut the bottom off. Especially as my celery seeds are doing so badly  :(

hope it works now, my one looks very promising TBH, going to plant it out tomorrow. does anyone know if rabbits like celery or not?

Get the slingshot ready phil, rabbits love celery, especially the new leafy shoots.
Will also try this , saves buying seeds. Thanks for the tip.

i have just got the first green shots breaking through the soil surface. not enough to photo today but i think that there will be a good shot or 2 over the next few weeks. great tip and looks like we will have loads of celery.
