Hampshire's are a sensible breed ideal for crossing and the wool is not to bad as well    will be trying a lot more shows this year with them  :farmer:

A Friend visited today and said we are to expect down to minus 9 in the next week or so? :o I really hope not!

Snow and sub zero ? ! I guess that you are in the far north or up a mountain. I hope that the recent warm bout did not persuade too many to plant out tender veg. It is still quite warm here in central France with very dry soil so what with all the fruit trees in blossom I have planted out tomatoes ! Ooops - best check the forecast.

No,we are in the east Midlands,it was quite cool today but cannot believe it shall get that cold here...???

My OH left Limoges today for Rutland - she is sunburnt and is the red head walking about the east midlands in a  vest and sandals. Here in the Limousin the thermometer ( in full sun) hit 40 again this afternoon at 5:00 so the OH will feel pretty cold tomorrow.
