cherries

My cherry tree has never done well due, mostly to the goats reaching over the fence to have a chomp whenever they get the chance.  Managed to prevent them last year and I had one cherry.  and a delicious cvherry it was too.  Today I noticed quite a lot of blosson so am hoping.

Cherries are sooo expensive in the shops too...we have a cherry / plumb, tends to have a lot of fruit but in places I cannot reach!!  Hope you get at least another one this year!!

you could try feeding it with  high potash fertiliser, like wood ashes, that m ight help it set a few more.
at least if you do get 2 this year you can say youve doubled your crop!

The birds get ours every year, usually in the morning of the very day we have hoped they'd be ripe.....

I'll try that DITW.  Maybe I'll even quadruple the crop.   :cherry: :cherry: :cherry: :cherry:  Wonder if I should invest in a net.  the tree is right next to the bird feeder.
