Has anyone sent me a few broad bean seeds recently ?
I've asked several people of several sites and I ended up with some but no name or message came with the seeds .

 I don't recognise the writing on the envelope not can I decipher the post mark .
 If it is anyone on here please setp up to the rostrum and get your gold medal

There's a house not far from us called "Two Trees" .... there's not a tree in the garden, and an expanse of grass mowed within an inch of its life with a foot-wide border to the pavement. In the summer, the border contains a single row of begonias, well spaced out. Not a thing in the winter.   I find it one of the most depressing & boring gardens ...

... And every time we drive past, I mime scattering seeds & tell my husband I'm going to walk by in the dark, guerrilla gardening and chuck a load of wild flower seeds into his borders!!  (Surprise! )

In my OH's village when he was a bit of a young tearaway there was a chap who had a front garden that was just pure soil, no lawn, he kept it pristine not a weed or blade of grass in sight, just beatifully swirled patterns of soil! One night OH and one of his mates on coming home from the pub a bit worse for wear threw great handfuls of OSR (Oil seed rape) seeds onto it, the poor man blamed the birds and wind blowing the wrong way from farmers fields for months as he struggled to control the growth! It is now a prisine lawn mowed religiously but now and then you do spot the odd OSR plant.

I do know a bloke who was sacked (unjustly) from his gardening job , so he crept round at night and wrote the word b.astards in mustard and cress seeds  on the lawn,  you can't mow it out you have to returf.

When a colleague in the mess went on a long course once, we went into his room and planted mustard and cress seeds on the carpet and then kept them lightly watered for a few weeks until he got back
