Hi from Somerset
« on: March 25, 2012, 03:35:24 pm »
Hi,

In the last few of years, having to tighten up on our finances I got started on growing some of our own food. I've been hooked ever since, and a couple of years ago got my self an allotment across the road from me, hard going but getting there. I'm also going to start dabbling in the art of hydroponic and aquaponic farming in my greenhouse. Got lots of questions to ask, and stuff to share.

Greetings from the North dorset/Somerset border!

We've got sheep, pigs, cattle, ponies, chickens (turkeys at xmas), 3 kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats and a lot of small and varied exotic creatures!

Hi!  from the sunny seaside in West Dorset - it feels more like Greece today.  Good luck with the veg growing - remember chickens will eat almost anything!
