Hi everyone - its getting exciting here, as we near our sheeps due dates! The sheep belong to my son (Big Benny Shep - doesn't post much just lurks :-) ) , he has forty odd sheep at his land to lamb and I have 16 shearings ( no "L jaykay

) here at ours. He gave me the shearings to lamb on the pretext of having smaller hands

They are texels and texel x suffolks put to texel, suffolk and texel x suffolk tups. The flock are what remains of my late mothers, who farmed sheep all her life. Ben worked weekends with her for many years so has a lot of experience but this will be our first lambing year on our own.

I just want to say thankyou for all the advice I have gleaned from everyone else's posts, and thank you in advance for any panicky posts you may get from me in the next few weeks!
