Thanks all.

Annie can you leave it til after the weekend as I'm doing my final exams for the massage diploma Sat/Sun and only have 2 days study time left after 1 colic, 1 overnight job and 1 foaling, all contributing to major sleep deprivation and lack of mental focus on anatomy and physiology  :-\
Yes, fine, after the week I've just had I need a couple of a days at home cleaning the house and walking the dogs.  AGM's cause havoc!

Names are Gaelic and for this mare begin with an L ie Lxxxxxx Rioghal of Kirkcarrion.

Currently working through possibilities including Lannair, Lus-Righ, Liathrosg, Luatharan, Leig, Luaidh, Leamhan, Lur, Luaithre, Learuch, Luachair, Leadan, Lochran, Lasag, Lionadh and Lasair.. but nothing decided as yet.

She and her mum had to come in today, not an easy task on my own with 2 other ponies in the field objecting and one of those the stallion ::)  Foal went lame, probably a tweak from foalie games which are quite manic at times, but a couple of days relative rest should help resolve it and if not then she's here for a vet to see :(

Stallion is not impressed to lose his lady love but it's timely separation as she will be in foal heat by the end of the week and waiting another few weeks would be better than a February foal next time around :o  I've had one of those (in a snowstorm) and managed fine but not a choice I'd make intentionally ;)
