On another forum they started what they call a seed circle
Any surplus seeds are sent on to the next recipient who takes what they would like   adds what they have a surplus of  and passes on   giving participants the opportunity to try a wider variety of veg etc without having to waste money  has proven to be hugely successful

At £3.49 for a little pack the garden centre really must be having a laugh. Ten different vegetable seed types and thats £35 for some seeds. Robbery!

If anyone is thinking of buying seeds I recommend this http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Premier-Seeds-Direct?_trksid=p4340.l2563 I have had a good few packs from them and they have all germinated and growing well. The larger numbers in the seed packs from them may mean we can swap even more seeds around

I'd love them, Benkt! I stupidly left me seeds in the greenhouse over the winter and the mice ate every last pea and bean, the buggers.

The only thing I have an excess of is cornflower seed, which are very pretty. I have about 50 packets (bought a load on ebay a couple of years ago. I put them in the children's party bags at one of the girls' birthday parties, everyone was thrilled! Just a thought for all you mummies!)
