Planting onion sets yesterday I had to go back to the house to get some string. When I got back I saw movement under the row I had just planted then an onion popped up !!
A mouse had followed my first row !!

I did a good Victor Meldew !!!

Fantastic - that really made me smile! 

It reminds me of this one: My friend's daughter came into their house the other day and said "the cat just caught a mole, but it's ok, I've rescued it and put a bucket over it to stop it from escaping".  Of course, 5 minutes later, the bucket contained only a large molehill, and no mole  .  He was after my advice yesterday on how to get rid of it, since their lawn is now full of molehills!

My uncle carried a bucket of water thru the house - my aunt told him off becuase water was leaking out - he asked where the leak was and tipped the bucket to look !! idiot .
