Good grief. I couldn't make this up - what happened to 'it'll be fine' with regard to keeping sheep and lambing - it's one thing after another with me. I'm not neglectful - I've spent LOADs preparing and making sure the shelters, fields, grass, fencing etc is amongst the best. I watch them as a matter of course.

But now:

I notice one newborn lamb (one of twins, born a couple of days ago) is sometimes a bit snuffly when having nap. Pleased to say it is doing all the 'lamb stuff' happily but sounds (SOMETIMES - NOT ALWAYS) a bit 'bunged up' when having a kip.

Anything to worry about?

OhLaLa, if the lamb is doing everything normally, the chances are that I for one would not notice a bit of an occasional snuffle when it's sleeping.  BUT... since you have, and have raised it... I for one am not comfortable to say unequivocally "don't worry, it'll be fine" - so, if you are worried, you could give it a shot of antibiotic, just in case there is some low-level bacterial infection there.  But from how you describe it, I think it would get nothing if it were here and in all likelihood would grow up just fine

I know kids aren't the same but young kids do seem to breath a little 'snuffly' sometimes - I used to worry but have found they all seem to do it - almost like the have the start of a cold - but like Sally I wouldn't like to say 100% there wasn't something wrong - but I would think if eating, sleeping, pooing etc fine all should be well.
