I really wish the washing basket would find a way of washing &ironing it's own contents instead of breeding large quantities for me to do! ( where does it all come from? )

Well, I am very blessed.  A couple of weeks ago I was out late, hoping I would catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights when I saw the brightest clearest nearest shooting star I’ve ever seen.  I wasn’t expecting a meteor so didn’t have a wish ready; the thought that came flashing when I reached for one quickly was, “No change please.”   Lucky me, eh?  (Later, after breakfast, I said to BH, “Dang!  I shouldha’ wished for a new dishwasher cutlery basket that doesn’t go holey!” :D)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

As someone said to me when I was complaining that the washing seemed to breed in the basket, "why do you think it's called dirty washing?"

I second the wish it would stop raining. Had another compost bin delivered (the council sell them cheap!) and need to put that up... And do a few other things in the garden.
