Hi, to you all

  Hi

Have enjoyed reading the forum for a while, so thought it was time to join!

We are in the hills of Mid Wales and have about 2 acres. We have a small flock of Soay sheep and will be lambing for the first time in a few weeks. Also lots and lots of hens and quail.

We have been told that our girls should lamb with few problems but maybe in the sheep section asking lots of questions soon!!!

Hello and welcome in the hills

Sorry won't be able to help much with livestock questions through your lambing but look forward to seeing some pics.

Ooo very close indeed  My mum and I have a small flock of wiltshire horns. These are due to lamb mid April. Good luck with your girls, I'm sure it will all go swimmingly.

Hi from Lancashire!

I've helped with lambing, on a sheep farm on Anglesey. As long as you don't expect much sleep you should be fine! Good luck.

Hi Squeasy

Hope all goes well for you ....keep us posted. Ours are due anytime from the 21st March but hope it will be a couple of weeks later than that date.

We have 7 ladies and the visiting ram, who will be with us until around June. He s lovely but has quite an attitude! Hope they lamb without much intervention otherwise the lad will be in another paddock for a while ...wont stand for anyone messing with his girls!!!!
