£2.49 WELLIES!
« on: February 16, 2012, 05:40:23 pm »
Don't know how many of you  have come across Sports Direct before, but they do magnificent sales from time to time. For today only you can buy ladies wellies for £2.49, and they've got some good stuff for kids too. I think it's worth subscribing, receiving junk mail, just to get the good offers. I've just bought 5 pairs of kids ski socks, the wellies, and running trousers for my 11 yr old, cost under £13 inc delivery.  Thought of you all as I remember a previous thread where there was  a lot of wellie chat.....!

Thanks for that ( my wellies have just developed a leak). Got quite excited about cheap wellies and my husband pointed out that pre smallholding such a level of excitement used to mean I'd found some bargain dior heels or some such designer shoes.  :)

both are nice boots but neither stand up to pigs for long so we use either riggers or cheap boots whist working with the pigs, in fact nothing much stands upto pigs  ;D

I agree, they're not particularly gorgeous, comfortable, or hardwearing, but for that price I wouldn't expect anything else! All my gear arrived this morning too, I'm quite delighted with myself!  ;D

They can't be any worse than some of the brand name made in china rubbish that's in the shops these days.

Mmmm rigger boots, I love my rigger boots - I also wonder if I have reached another level when I think about how god damn comfy my boots are and how I love them so much.

I love my boots. :)
