I have lots of people in my workshops that haven't knitted ever or since they were at school and everyone makes something by the end of the workshop. It is easier than traditional knitting as it builds so quick and you can easily see what you are doing and tension is not so important.

So in a word 'yes' it is perfect for a novice, and I am always here to help and encourage.

Thank you do you also provide patterns to follow? Im in Kent so not close enough to attend a work shop, which would have been interesting.

I do some patterns but I charge a fee for these, but I will email a simple lap rug pattern to get you going

Why don't you get together a few friends and a venue (a large lounge) and I can come down for a day and do a workshop.

I may be doing youtube videos later in the spring as well.

Can you knit at all?

Thank you, i can just remember how to cast on i think! my aunt taught me years ago as i'm left handed and couldn't get it with my mum showing me!! a simple pattern would be great, if all goes well then i may well purchase  more challenging patterns fingers crossed.  Don't know any ladies as we haven't been here long but could ask at the local community hall to see if anyone would be interested. How many would you need to make it worth your while?

the more the better but as a guide for 10 people it would be £40- £50 each but the more people the cheaper and I could also do peglooming

How long are these?  How do I buy them?  What would the postage be for these and double ended?

Thanks.

Only 2 pairs of the single pointed left they have been more popular than we hoped for. The double pointed we have 3 pairs left. Another batch will be made but not for a while as we are due to start lambing

Hi Rachel
Am going to place an order but would like to ask would the Extreme Double Pointed Knitting Needles be suitable for the patterns for the Extreme Knit Cowl Pattern and Extreme Knit Infinity Scarf?

Thanks Jackie

Those patterns state a size 12mm needle.

I can send you a free pattern via email for a cowl (pictured below in pink) that uses 24mm needles. The double point needles are used for i-cord or cabling in conjuction with the normal 24mm needles.
