After a few days above freezing I am going to turn the water stopcock on in the barn - and hope that the pipes that run  through it and into the house then outto our "boiler room"  the other side of the house have not burst. All alone - so lots of running to check for leaks along its long route.

Taking the oppertunity to move furniture while steve is at work..he makes too much fuss and often its moved then put back before he comes home...not this time though
