Our first litter.....
« on: January 26, 2008, 08:16:24 am »
....and oh what a gorgeous sight. :D   8 little spotty GOS all feeding from their chocolate fountain with gusto....including a little runt, whom by the look of him/her is not going to be far behind very long!  We started off with 7......then I went to work......and when I came home the OH kept asking "how many piglets should there be".....and I kept saying 7 !!!   But there were 8 ....... another one had popped out sometime later. :o  Amazing :) :) :)

Aw, thanks all........I think I've bored everyone now about them......but if you can bear it, I'd love to put a pic or two on the site.  :D Today was busy as usual with all the normal weekend jobs.......interspersed with keep nipping in and sitting in the bedding with the piglets..........who needs telly when you can watch these little bundles......Making the most of it whilst they're this size tho....cos they'll soon turn into those hell raising hooligans!! ;)

Any problems just ask.

They are stunning! I so cannot wait to get our two little weaners next month - we have already decided to call them Duchess and Queenie.

I still can't get over this breed looking like Dalmation pups!

Hi Kate - does that mean the weaners are for keeping rather than destined for sssshhhhhh (said very quietly..) - "sausages"?  :-\ They are just gorgeous, but I think of all the farmyard type baby animals......piglets are the cutest, no matter which breed......but then again I am hooked on GOS's and Berkshires  :) ;) :D ;D ......oh, and Kune, Kunes !!! 8) ::)

Our girls are for breeding, so looking forward to more little dotty piglets later on.

Love the Kune Kunes as well by the way although we don't have any.

Kate have just spent two hours rounding up Duchess, Queenie and Duke.  Queenie is definitely the heaviest, Duke the most intelligent and Duchess the cutest and o h they are so gorgeous.   HM
