Hello folks

Really impressed by the forum so have joined!

I keep a small flock of sheep of mixed breeds for 10 years in Wiltshire, they are starting to get a bit old now!
Have also kept chickens in the past

I will be lurking on the sheep forum no doubt

Hello, welcome to the forum.

We're in the east of Scotland. I've had enough of the sleet today so we've just lit the wood burner, think we'll settle down, snooze and maybe watch the rugby later.  :D

and again.  I'm in the north of Cumbria now but have lived around Chippenham, Malmesbury and Devizes in my time.  Better summers but CLAY! Sticks to your boots, makes 'em weigh a ton each!
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

  HI and welcome from snowy Shropshire.  I've never lived in Wiltshire but did live in Somerset not far from the border with Wiltshire.

We are certainly challenged by generous helpings of clay here. Rather squishy when it rains. Could be worse though.
