Presuming that :
you're in England or wales, and
that you have done the AML2 on-line - ie registered with BPEX, and set up a movement and
You completed the parts about medical treatment etc.
- then no, the abattoir will get both movement and FCI info direct from the system
Having said that may still need one copy of the AML2 form to act as your ATC (animal transport certificate) - although this isn't needed in some/many cases, but its better to have it in case.
It is also worth taking an additional copy of the AML2 for the abattoir - many lairage men are not keen to take animals with no proof that you have done the electronic bit!
If you're in Scotland come back and we'll get a definiate answer for you, I still haven't got my head round what they now do in terms of electronic forms, ATC's and FCI's. Robert or other Scots - presumably you do an electronic submission, then use the pro-forma emailed to you to act as ATC, is there another form for FCI or does the email version cover both?
