We are just expanding from a tiny hobby, selling to friends and family to wanting to supply some local shops/b and b's with our produce and would like to know if anyone has any information about the regulations we have to comply with.
We have sold at the local country market but would like to set up a small shop in our garage (so just a bit bigger than selling from the doorstep. We have also had some local businesses interested in using our meat and eggs. We have our food hygeine certificate from the local authority. We were looking into something like REdTractor but that looks like it is aimed at much bigger producers.
Our produce will be:
Fresh and frozen pork from our pigs
Fresh and frozen lamb from our lambs
Eggs
Chicken
Jams
Chutneys
Fresh veg
Cakes
Quiches
