Hello from north east of Scotland
« on: January 07, 2012, 06:13:39 pm »
First off Happy New Year to All and I hope 2012 is kind to you and yours.
I've been reading around this site for a while now and found it a great information portal for all my questions but it was time to say hi and make a post.
Well I live near a wee place called Longside next to a once was war airship base but now dog walkers heaven Forrest called Lenabo.
Been there for 4 years but worked away for last three years so not aspired to much with the place other than a few Dutch texels. I'm coming back home to work so things will start to move forward as I set up with some ducks, chickens and I hope 2 GOS.
My texels are all in lamb so this will be my first lambing come mid April so looking forward to that.
Ducks I'm hoping to find a trio of runners and I have a soft spot for the Scots Grey so already looking like a good year.
Anyone around or near make yourself known as you can never have to many contact.

By for now

Hello & welcome to TAS  ;D
I'm not that close, being down in Lanarkshire, but you never know when I'll be heading North  ;)
Looking forward to hearing more from you

Hi Harpchr - can't help on either of your 'wish list' - but not too bad on lambing if you ever want a second pair of hands

Hi Harpchr  I breed runners but am probably rather far from you - in Cumbria. Still, if you're ever coming south  :)
