Hi Andrea
welcome to the forum.  Happy Hippy (Karen) is in Lanarkshire - I'm sure she'll be along in a minute to say hello. Do you have any animals or grow any fruit or veg at the moment?

I think the smallholding you look fro will depend on what you can spend - there are a few country property websites, and there was a thread on here a wee while ago with the web addresses.  I'll see if I can find it for you.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Hello and welcome from a wild windy and wet Wales,

Good luck with your search - hope you find what you want.

Hi and welcome from just over the border in north Cumbria

There'll be a smallholding coming on the market near me next year - I'll put up a link when it's on for anyone interested in not-quite-Scotland!
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
