Well today went quite well. Head scans normal, MRI scan on spine showed soft tissue damage, so he will have to wear the collar for the time being. They weaned him from the ventilator and was breathing normally, but still giving him oxygen, even though he did not need it. When I left the hospital today they were in the process of waking him up slowly. We now have to wait to see how much damage has been done to his brain, but I must be strong & positive for him.

Thanks everyone, just for being there, perhaps a brighter week will follow the B A one.

All the best Kaz- we are thinking of you. I can only echo what others have said- and they have put it far better than I ever would.   :)

Yesterday they transfered him back to the local hospital for rehabilitation with the option if needed to have further  rehab at Morriston, it will  save me a 4 hour journey daily.
He is recovering well at this stage, considering that they expected him to die in the beginning.
We are now on the long road of recovery and rehab and I hope & pray that I will get most or if not all of him back.

Thanks everyone, will keep you updated.
