Yup, nae bother.  I'm in Clackmannan - just 3 minutes from Alloa!  Ask away, PM or on here, no problems.

Hiya,

My Dad's family is originally from Coventry, but we're in Stirling now.  Feel free to ask whatever questions you like, either on here or via PM.

Congratulations!  Are you still going into rented first then or is it a push to find somewhere to buy?

Congratulations!
We're on the West coast, near Oban so you'll be about 2 hours from us. You should have no problem finding a place rent in February - we're doing the same thing though, renting until we can find somewhere that is just ' us '!

Congratulations to you and Natalie

The first farm I worked on was just outside Coventry - search for 'Mucky Eddie' for a story about it.  I used to frequent the pub in Princethorpe (can't remember its name now) with my locally infamous tame jackdaw; the landlord was Don Fardon, who had had a Top Ten Hit ('Indian Reservation') when I was a teenager.  I was all star struck about meeting Don Fardon and he was all star struck about having the infamous jackdaw in his bar!  :D

Bloomer, well done for selling your house.  I have been going through the same process so know how difficult the market is at present.

Sally you have taken me back years.  I remember Indian Reservation. Oh god thats making me feel old  >:(
