List is up , it took me an age to get to it last week kept being sent to random pages that had a different link ( even having been sent link by ylc). Try this link - not sure if it works if you are not registered

http://www.ylc.co.uk/library/catalogues/11/121_111008.pdf

Cant go unfortunately....no time ( and no money, but it would have been nice to watch)

I won't be going this year as I have sold everything I want to sell and I don't want to buy anything.

But looking at the catalogue reminded me of past years when there is pandemonium trying to get your animals unloaded and settled in the relatively small time window of 12 til 2, then the show starts at 2.  If you are on your own then you have no choice, once you have got to the front of the queue of trailers, but to leave your vehicle blocking the unloading bay stopping the next folk unloading, while you take your animals to their pens.  This creates quite a blockage when everyone has to do it.  The whole point of going on the Friday is to enter the show, and to miss it because you are stuck in a trailer jam is infuriating, so a longer arrival time would be so much better, say 10 til 2.

I can feel my blood pressure going up just thinking about it - just as well I'm not going then  8) 8)

That was exactly what I did!

It says goats at the very top but then I I stopped actually being able to see and was just staring at the screen!

I might go anyway, a load of my students went to the spring auction and said it was super.

Well I've been watching and waiting for one of you to tell us how it was!

And so has Fleecewife, she's just posted the same thing while I was writing!

Don't know if I can help with info but, my son went to  get some birds for us. I was a work and hubby was busy at home.
He wanted to try for some RIR trios but  said they were too expensive , although he came home with a pair he was happy with. Also got some Marsh Daisy pullets for a reasonable price. He bought 10 birds in all so they couldn't be too expensive, as he's quite'tight' with his money.
He said some birds didn't sell and with a penning fee of £5 I shouldn't think their owners would be too happy. Although apparently some Welsummers went for over £200. He  also nearly bought some Croad Langshans as they were going 'cheep'!
He  had a quick look at pigs and Dexters and said there was a good range of stock and prices were okay.
