I've just bought one of these and the so-called recipe book is a bit lacking on instructions!

Anyone got one and any tips, recipes or general comments on them please?

(fish and chips for tea tonight so be interesting to see how that turns out)

Was given one but after one use I sent it back. I didn't like it at all. I am in the send it back camp. Tried to cook Beef Boriginon and ended up with  Burnt Buggerall.

I have halogen rings (I think - flat surface, instant red glow) but the oven is a conventional fan.  Did you mean halogen rings or is there some new kind of oven I haven't come across?

It has quite a bright light that cooks the food in the big glass bowl. The light is at child's eye height on a worktop and is very bright. It was a bit like having a Tardis going in the kitchen.

I've got one. Cooked a whole chicken on it. Lovely...... Have got two cook books though other than what was supplied. Makes cooking so simple. I think it would be ideal in a carvan or camper.

I do find the catalogues these sorts of things are generally sold from make excellent chicken bedding when they've been shredded.  And with Xmas coming the postman is staggering under the weight of such catalogues.
