Hi folks!
« on: September 19, 2011, 07:34:57 pm »
Hi there, i've just come to this forum via a mention from a friend - so here I am!
I keep Greyface Dartmoor sheep, 20 breeding ewes 4 rams and followers, also a few hens of various pure and cross breeds, and ferrets!
I spend the summer showing my sheep, and I am a qualified breed inspector. Next year I intend to start training to become a judge.
I hope to be able to add helpful comments, and seek advice from like minded folk on here.
Cheers,
Hazelwood Flock.

A very warm welcome from a wild wet and windy north Cumbria
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
