Hedgelaying

We'd like our hedge laid this year rather than cut. Had a look at the National Association of Hedgelayers. There are exactly none in Scotland. Surely this can't be true?

Any hedgelayers willing to travel to Scotland?

hi, am sure there's plenty of hedgelayers there , just not in some 'association' .
bit negative ,- but it's now way too late for such games , here in the s.west of england - all done and dusted by end of feb re the ickle birdies and that .
i am starting to fill next winter's schedule as of now , as i'm sure are the scottish hedgelayers ...... find one and get them booked !
good luck . (would offer to come and do it , but only know the devon and the midlands styles ! )
If it's too steep to plough , put sheep on it , if the sheep fall off , plant trees .

I'm sure there are but where? And how do you find them? I've never seen a laid hedge around here - all flailed, I'm afraid.
