Sad loss of little bird

Ever since 6 bantam-cross eggs hatched (and were brilliantly looked after by my 2 experienced broodies), one of the chicks was doubtful.  She seemed to pant and was always last to the food.  As time went on I got more hopeful.  Although smaller than the others whe kept up as they ranged free in my garden, and acheived the grand old age of 9weeks.  She didn't seem to be bullied either. Then, when I re-homed the other 5 on Saturday she became ill overnight and died the following day.  I can only think the stress of losing her "siblings" was too much for her.  I'm so sad. :'(

I'm sorry - it's always hard to lose the little one you've carried through  :-*
