do u have a greenhouse? if so you could start planting tomatoes and cucumbers indoors so that they are able to go in greenhouse when it's a little warmer.

Hi & welcome,
I'm a novice grower myself, but the best bit of advice I can give you is get down to your local library and get a good book on veg growing. They give you all the info you'll need on when, where & how to grow stuff as well as having sections covering pests & diseases to look out for.
This website's quite good for starters

Good luck & let us know how you get on.

It's a good time to plant Chillis indoors on a window sill.  They can stay in until it's warm enough to pot them on and place the pots outside.  :farmer:
