Hello, stumbled on here while googling, looks like a brilliant site full of knowledgeable people.
I live in Renfrewshire with my OH, 3 kids, dog, 2 kittens and as of last night 8 ex batts, i'm so excited having finally got some hens, they are in a bit of a sorry state just now but i'm sure with a bit of tlc they'll live a healthy happy life.
So thats me,  :) pleased to meet you all.

Hello from me in South Lanarkshire, welcome to TAS
There's a rare breed sale at Lanark on the 18th of August - it's looking like there may well be a wee meet up there  ;) Please feel free to come along.
Look forward to hearing more from you,
Karen x

Where did you get your exbatts from - was it the BHWT?  I'm waiting for an email to collect some and thought the collection was this week but hadn't heard yet.  Welcome to the forum, we're generally a friendly bunch so feel free to ask any questions.  I love my exbatts!

Hi, yes it was from BHWT they had a collection on Wed and Thurs this week, don't worry though as Jim was 50 hens short and was trimming the numbers he could give but he has another collection next month so might be worth your while dropping him an email.

Am I stoopid or what?  ::) :-[  I thought you were from Iona with that username!  I know Jim from previous intakes so I know he'll contact me as soon as the next batch is ready.  Glad you came on too - I would have been wondering what had happened.  Thank you.
