Just found this post re separators ? just what I need having found a recipe for goat milk ice cream! Just also wondering how everyone’s machines are working?
Works fine after a few years of use, but haven't done any separation this spring yet. Needs thorough washing after each run through, max 9 to 10kgs of milk per run, it will clogg up if you attempt to do more in one go. Needs fiddling with the screw to get consistency as you want it, and we now always add a bit of milk back into the cream to make sure it stays pourable rather than goes solid when cooled down in fridge.
